PREP Registration is NOW OPEN!

Registration emails for Traditional PREP will go out Thursday, July 31st  from “info@ParishGiving.com”. Before they arrive, we wanted to let you know about a couple of changes this year. If you were registered in Traditional PREP last year, you should get a registration email this week. If you are moving from Summer PREP to Traditional PREP, please contact the PREP office to switch streams.

8th Grade students: No weekly traditional class required. Our post-Confirmation students are invited to attend the free, monthly Young Disciples meetings held at various local parishes (we host at least 1 per season). The students who have attended over the past two years have really enjoyed their program, so we are freeing you up from two commitments to do the one most of you prefer!! For those in need of CYO Sports clearances: you will need to attend 3 Sunday Suppers with Jesus and 2 Service projects with Young Disciples or some combination thereof (they take attendance). Service projects tend to be on Saturdays so if Sundays don’t fit in your calendar do 5 service projects! If neither of these options work, please reach out to me so we can discuss alternatives. * PREP TIME CHANGE

Last year’s 4:15pm was way too tight for the catechists and many families … that experiment was a bust! We have had great success in Summer PREP with our “Prayer Partners” across the grade levels that we would like to bring that program into Traditional PREP.  In order to do so, we need to have all the grades on campus at the same time. This year we are going to try a SINGLE TIMESLOT for ALL PREP STUDENTS. All PREP students in Levels 1-7 will attend from 5:30-6:45pm.  We know that it might not work for everyone, so if you are in that situation, please contact the PREP Office and we will find an alternative that works with your family schedule.

SACRAMENT REGISTRATION

This year we are separating the Sacrament Registration from PREP registration to better accommodate our Catholic school, private school and homeschooled students. If you have a student in 2nd or 7th grade and they attended PREP last year, please use the following links to register for your sacrament. If your Confirmation student hasn’t chosen a saint or sponsor enter “TBD” so we know to nag them. If your child was baptized at ABVM you don’t have to hunt down the date, we have it online, just enter 01/01/2001 and we will look it up in our system. Anyone receiving a sacrament who was NOT baptized at ABVM please email us a copy of the baptismal certificate or upload it to your Parish Giving PREP account.
