  • Children's Choir

    You are invited to join our St. Cecilia’s Singers, the children’s chorus here at ABVM! Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings promptly at 9:30 until 10! Ages 6-12 are welcome to join. Call Mrs. Nelson at 561-339-5298 to sign up.

  • DELCO Young Disciples

    DELCO YD is a ministry for DELCO Teens in Grades 7-12 that provides opportunities to grow in their faith and bring their talents and energy to their local Parish family and our broader communities. Thy host a monthly Sunday dinner with the opportunity for fellowship and discussion along with a monthly service project. The monthly Sunday Dinner with Jesus will rotate among (5) DELCO parishes that have committed to hosting. The parishes are  Annunciation BVM in Havertown, St. Andrew the Apostle, St. Bernadette of Lourdes and St. Charles Borromeo in Drexel Hill and St. Laurence in Upper Darby.

  • Eileen George Prayer Group

    Join us once a month on Sundays from 2-3p for a grace-filled Holy Hour. We will have Adoration, Confessions, and Benediction along with our Novena for Eileen George's intercession for our personal needs. Priests will be available for Confessions. After Benediction, you are welcome to join us in the hall for light refreshments.

  • Fellowship Team

    The Fellowship Team is a group of volunteers that reach out to new parishioners to welcome them into the Parish during their first year of registering. This ministry is aligned with one of the goals listed in our Parish Priority Plan to help new registrants to become more plugged into the parish community.   • Finance Council

    A Finance Council is an advisory body to the pastor that assists the pastor in his administration of the finances and temporalities of the parish but does not determine parish policy. Members of the Parish Finance Council are to be active and practicing parishioners of the parish, in good standing, whose foremost priority for the parish is the development of a community of faith and who view their concern with finances in that context.   • Flame of Love

    Annunciation Parish is hosting a weekly Flame of Love Cenacle on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 PM on the first floor of our school building. Enter through Sagamore Road side of school. All parishioners are invited to join us during this Holy Hour where we will pray the Rosary and other prayers.

    The Hospitality Team is a group of parishioners that work together to prepare Hospitality events for the parish. These events happen approximately once a month. Contact Jeanine, office@abvmh.org

  • Implementation Team

    The Implementation Team consists of a group of appointed individuals that are tasked with Implementing the Parish Priority Plan created in collaboration with the Catholic Leadership Institute. This ministry has three categories of focus: Evangelization, Stewardship, and Fellowship. They are always looking for people to become more involved with the Implementing of these priorities and the goals associated with them.

  • Legion of Mary

    The Legion of Mary has been active in Annunciation Parish for over 50 years. Our mission is personal holiness and bringing others into a closer relationship with Christ and His Church. Come and explore! Meetings are held Tuesday evenings on the first floor of the school at 7:00 pm.

  • Men's Gospel Reflection Group

    On Fridays from 7:30am to 8:20am we will meet in the school (First classroom on right) to read the Sunday Gospel and reflect quietly for a few minutes and then share what the Holy Spirit has prompted. Anyone interested can join for Mass at 8:30am afterwards.

  • Our Lady of Fatima Pilgrim Statue

    Would you like to have the Pilgrim Statue visit your home for a week? The Legion of Mary helps coordinate home visitations of Our Lady of Fatima Pilgrim Statue to any family of the parish.   • Pastoral Council

    The Parish Pastoral Council is an advisory body working in consultation with the Pastor. It is the main group to which the Pastor turns for recommendations and evaluations on pastoral planning.

    e pastor in assessing the needs and concerns, as well as the gifts and resources, of the parish and its members in setting goals and offering recommendations as ABVM strives to become a community of intentional disciples, evangelizers, and stewards. The parish council seeks consensus decision making whenever possible.

  • Rosary Makers

    Did you know that Annunciation has a group of Rosary Makers? Over the years, thousands of rosaries, made right here in Havertown, have been sent to missions in the U.S. and in foreign lands. In addition, rosaries have been given to prisons, hospitals and schools. The Rosary Makers would like to invite anyone who is interested to join us. We will teach you the art of rosary making and you will be a part of a friendly, fun group. As an additional benefit, you will be performing missionary work in the name of our Blessed Mother. Time: 10:00 am to 12 noon, Mondays Place: Annunciation BVM School, 1st Floor, 1st classroom on right.

  • St. Jerome's Library

    The St Jerome Library is a children’s library open to the Parish and located on the third floor of the school building. The library has children’s books available for checkout and story times with a craft. The library is open from 10:00- 11:30 on Thursdays. Please arrive within the first 15 minutes.

  • St. John's Hospice

    Casseroles and donations, boxer briefs medium & large, large body wash, shaving razors, body powder, sweatpants, white T-shirts Sizes M, L, XL are collected on the third Friday of every month from 6:30 to 10:00 am in the church hall. If you would like to donate a casserole and cannot drop off on the third Friday of every month, please call the rectory to make arrangements 610-449-1613. Kindly mark the date on the lid of your casserole. Pans and recipes are available in the vestibule of the rectory office.
