Father Loomis Is Being Reassigned

Dear Parishioners,

It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you, Archbishop Nelson has changed my assignment to St. Madeline’s parish in Ridley Park effective June 16th. 

I recognize that this news comes unexpectedly and that responses will vary. Transitions are never easy, for the priest or the people, and my own heart is overwhelmed with many feelings. Not lost among them, however, is clarity that I promised obedience to my bishop and intend to keep that promise. 

Your new pastor is Fr. Steven Moerman, who comes from St. Isaac Jogues parish where he has served faithfully for 11 years.
